A primary objective in creating the color selection was to maintain the oxide hues which have characterized Terne/Tin roofs since colonial times. Follansbee, working with Valspar, was able to create and deliver a pre-painted product (eliminating the need to call a painter) which replicates the aesthetic tone, texture and warmth achieved by the tinsmith for nearly 200 years. KlassicKolors does not have the shiny plastic-coated look prevalent on so many pre-painted metal roofing materials. These features make KlassicKolors a perfect choice for homes where historic restoration or replication is important.

KlassicKolors combines Follansbee's highest quality, long life, Terne II roof with a factory applied protective color coating by Valspar. Valspar's high performance 70% Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® Fluropon® SR factory-applied coatings are formulated to provide a solar reflective "cool" roof to help reduce energy costs. Plus, the low sheen of KlassicKolors adds the beauty of an elegant, traditional look to any home.
