Construction on the $1.5 million renovation project was completed in January 2008. Celtic Roofing of Burlington, VT was responsible for installing the standing seam roof. Scott McClelland, Keene Valley, NY, served as general contractor, while Anne E. Snelling-Lee Architects, Boston, MA, served as architect. Coastal Metal Services, Brockton, MA, was the distributor.
TCS II does not require painting and is designed to weather naturally to an attractive gray patina. To date, TCS II has surpassed 26,750 hours of ASTM salt spray testing with no red rust. Competitive products are known to fail at around 2,000 hours of testing.
